There may not be anything novel about war cries into marketing and sales targets but the way such initiatives are rendered makes the difference. Launched in the fall of 2009 this drive took the entire telecom circle by storm with each zone having its customized coat of arms and slogans and war rooms for strategy meetings etc. Beautiful mailers and posters done true to the zonal history were created. Each zone, spread across the state which in terms of area is larger than Italy and Britain, virtually became a war zone. The spirit has brought in results unprecedented in recent times.
Why Swabhimaan Sangram?

‘Swabhiman’ in Hindi means self respect. ‘Sangram’ stands for battle. It was battle of honour and self respect for the telecom operator that was challenging the leader in the region. The states of Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh have a history of bravery and valour. Ruled by valiant dynasties for centuries these lands have seen the fiercest of battles in the Indian history. Each region and its people still feel proud of their rich heritage and history.
