Wikitravel Print Guides

Wikitravel Press, the print arm of Webby Award winning travel site Wikitravel, sought TheAgence to help the company design their acclaimed guides for print. They already had a design in print when they came to us. The design looked straight out of Wordstar (for those who would still remember it).

The challenge was to create a design that will not only look worthy of worldwide markets but also be suitable for the innovative On-Demand-Print technology that Wikitravels was deploying. TheAgence successfully redesigned and relaunched the guides for Singapore, Chicago and Paris. We are proud of the fact that the design has proven itself both on technical as well as aesthetic fronts and has served as the template for all their subsequent releases.

This is also a study in remote production with the client sitting in Singapore; the design being done in India while the printing, on demand, was done in the USA. The production went through without a single issue cropping up between the designers and the printer. We add great value to your print collateral through good design and immaculate execution.
